Powerball in the UK: odds of every prize, and how they differ from the US game
Since July 2026 the National Lottery sells Powerball in the UK. It is the same draw as in the United States, five numbers from 69 and a Powerball from 26, so the jackpot is exactly as hard: 1 in 292,201,338.

The UK tiers are not the US ones. They add a prize the American game does not pay: two main numbers without the Powerball, 1 in 28.1, the most common UK prize. With it, a UK line wins something 1 in 13.2; an American line, 1 in 24.9.
Everything else is shared: the same balls, the same draw in Florida, the same chance for every combination. Five numbers without the Powerball come 1 in 11,688,054 on both sides of the Atlantic.
